Uganda Bukonzo is a stunning organic coffee grown at the feet of the Rwenzori mountains in South-West Uganda. This region boasts some of the best specialty Arabica production conditions in the whole of Uganda due it's high altitudes, fertile soil and plentiful rainfall.
The Bukonzo Farmers Co-operative was founded in 2009, born out of a vision and desire to shift away from commercial coffee production to the speciality market. Recognising the excellent growing conditions in the area, Bukonzo invested in 36 micro washing stations designed to process high quality coffees
This coffee is an absolute joy to work with and we are really excited to share this one with you. In the cup, it boasts flavour notes of citrus, caramel, berries and tropical candy. This coffee really shines using any filter method but equally excels as a single origin espresso.
