Bealach Na Bà Blend is our brand new flagship espresso blend. While a single origin bean can often make a fantastic espresso, we believe that blending can really elevate the espresso experience by taking the best bits from different coffees and producing a truly excellent cup.
This blend comprises of coffees from Brazil, Guatemala and Ethiopia. We have used a natural processed Brazilian coffee from Café Delas as the dominant coffee in the blend, this provides a real chocolate/nutty base for the espresso. Added to this is a washed coffee from Guatemala (La Bolsa) which we believe really enhances the flavour, and provides a good amount of texture and body. Finally, we have added a washed Ethiopian coffee (Koke Shalaye) which provides that little bit of magic that makes this blend really stand out from the rest with it's pronounced citrus and berry acidity complimenting those milk chocolate and praline notes perfectly and producing a truly exceptional espresso.
